“John and I met through friends while we were both living in Springfield, MO. I moved to Springfield to work at CoxHealth as a new nurse in the CVICU. John was going to college at Missouri State. On our first date, we went to the grocery store. John put together a list of all the ingredients he needed to buy and then we went to my apartment where he cooked salmon and corn cakes. I would say he's cooked most of the homemade meals I've ate since then :)”
“I think we're most excited to be surrounded by all of our family and friends. We wanted a small, intimate wedding so that we could REALLY spend time with the people that were in attendance. We have a lot of people flying in we don't get to see as often as we'd like. I also think it's going to be so nice to hug people and be in close proximity with them since that hasn't been able to happen during COVID.”
