INTIMATE BOATHOUSE WEDDING | SPRINGFIELD LAKE | ELIZABETH + JOSH

bride and groom in forest looking at each other

The first time I met Elizabeth and Josh, they were soft spoken and a bit shy, but the more we talked, the more I realized how down to earth and special they were. I can honestly say they are one of the most trusting and genuine couples I’ve worked with. Their wedding was surrounded by people who truly loved and had a relationship with them. They wanted to have a simple afternoon wedding with no schedule or expectations and it totally lived up to that. Not to mention the rain holding off for photos! ;) Here’s a little about their love story. Enjoy!

“Josh and I met 8 years ago while I was working at the Honey Shack in Silver Dollar City. While our first interaction was minimal, Josh shortly worked up a lot of courage to message me on Facebook. It didn't take long for Josh to ask me out on a date to my favorite place in Springfield. The Nature Center. Through going to school, living 2,228 miles apart at one point, we finally reconnected a year and half ago. And knew within months that we finally wanted to get married.”

Elizabeth + Josh, thank you for becoming my friends and letting me into your world! I truly felt like I was a part of your family and was surrounded by so many incredible people on your wedding day. And thanks for introducing me to the parmesan fries at Black Sheep ;) LIFE CHANGED.

xoxo,

Kyndal

“Keep it simple. Weddings don't have to be expensive to look beautiful. And don't use a real email at a wedding expo ;)” - Elizabeth
